Waffle Time started in Iloilo and there must be more than 300 outlets in Manila already.It is attractive as price of their product is from P10 to P18, waffle flavors is mango, pineapply, american hotdog (bestseller), german franks etc and the company makes it a habit to come out with Specials every once in a while.
Franchise package I think is more than P300,000 and so, if you are in a mall, you are looking at maybe P500,000 when you add rent, security deposits and other mall charges.
While it is good the Company maintains a number of Company-owned outlets which shows commitment on their part but it also means that most of the choice mall spots have already been taken by them. Am not sure how long it will take to get back your investment as not all sites are blockbusters.
