IFEX 2011: Sugar Substitutes for a Diabetes-prone Society

Better than Splenda and Equal  as not chemical-based like the competition
At the IFEX 2011, I was told there are a total of 9 exhibitors selling Coco Sugar that is a substitute for sugar and is supposedly much much better that Sugar substitutes like Equal and Splenda which are chemical-based as compared to the Coco Sugar which is all-natural.

I had to ask the supplier where does the coco sugar come from  because I know that coconut is high in saturated fats.  They said there is no saturated fat in coco sugar as it is the sap from the coconut flower.  Products that come from the nut of the coconut tree is the one with the high saturated fat.  Hmmmmmmmmmm

Checkout the label
Anyway, the Coco sugar is about the same price as Splenda (huhuhuhu) but can be used for cooking without the bitter after taste common in sugar substitute.
