As if it were not yet enough to have Icebreaker Scamble, Buzbox Scramble. Scramble King, Scramboi, Pinoy Ice Scramble and a horde of other Scramble franchises, JC Fran is introducing its Scramble Kid at P148,000 franchise package.
While there were newspaper reports of a Grandmother who went to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (or PCSO) asking the PCSO to stop the payment of the P741 Million 6/55 Grand Lotto Jackpot as she claims her grandson stole her lotto ticket, a Balikbayan from New York finally appeared before the PCSO accompanied by 3 relatives to claim the huge winning jackpot.

Lotto agents are also happy even though the long lines are now gone because they are now experiencing much higher sales in the 6/55 Grand Lotto as a result of the huge jackpot. Previously, lotto players were not too keen on the 6/55 Grand Lotto as the odds are much harder but after they saw the almost P1 billion peso Jackpot, these same lotto players are now playing the 6/55 Grand Lotto-- and even adding their own Lucky Pick bets!!!

1. The one offered by Judea Enterprises cost P15,000 and is the type being used by Jollibee, Pinoy Ice Scramble etc. It has a plastic body shell.

Wynski Enterprises has been a regular exhibitor in many of the recent Franchise Food cart trade shows at the World Trade Center (or WTC) and while their franchise brands are not as famous as Icebreaker Scramble or BuzBox Scramble, their franchise package are more affordable in the range of P28,000 to P100,000 (versus P148,888 for JC Fran Scramble Kid to P190,000 for Scramble King).
By the way, due to limited storage space, I am transferring this blog to http://richardjosephsiy.blogspot.com. Meantime, all blog posts that appears here will also appear in my new Blogger blog. I invite you to visit my new blog by clicking this link
If I was to gauge the most popular food cart concept based solely on the queries by my readers to reach my Blog, it would be Twistix!!!!! Yup, not scramble anymore. . . its Twistix today, yesterday and maybe, tomorrow.
During the SME & Franchise Expo, Twistix did not exhibit but there were 2 other outfits that exhibited Twistix-type of products, one of which I feature in this post: Twist N Fry by Wynski Enterprises.

Wynski is a regular exhibitor in almost all Food cart exhibits. They are actually a food cart fabricator but they do now offer franchises in Scramble, Twistix-type fries and many more.
The rise to P741 Million took several months and that spelled good business to all lotto outlets across the country, some outlets of whom saw daily sales increase 300% or even more. There were outlets that sold as much as P300,000 in just one day!!!!
For those interested in going into the Lotto Outlet business, I offer a One-on-One Consultation on How to Set-up and Operate Your Own Lotto Outlet. Topics will include Site Selection, The Proper Way to Apply with the PCSO, How Much to Set-up a Lotto Outlet, Actual Operations, How to Attract Lotto Players, Hiring The Right Lotto Operator and How to Protect Your Business from Fraud and many many more. I will share with you my Actual Experiences as a Lotto Agent. My fee is only P2,000 per head.
During the recent SME & Franchise Expo at the World Trade Center, I came across the booth of Judea Enterprises and they showed a Soft Serve Ice Cream Machine that had the capability of adding a stripe of say chocolate (or any flavor) to the usual Soft Serve Ice Cream.
With this Rainbow Function (Striped Flavor), you could charge a little more for customers (read Kids) who want to add a stripe of Chocolate to the Vanilla Ice Cream. (Mr Softy and Snowpy do not have this feature).
The machine cost P155,000 (versus the USA-made Taylor Machine of P375,000 used by Jollibee for their Sundaes) and Judea also sells the powder mixes for the soft serve ice cream and the Rainbow stripe flavorings.
