Lotto Update: New Regulations Governing the Opening of Lotto Outlets

The past few months the PCSO has come out with new regulations that will affect the application for new Lotto Outlets, to wit:

1.  The minimum distance between the lotto outlets is now 50meters (I think it was believed to be 100meters away previously);

2.  The minimum distance from schools and educational institutions is 100 meter away (no mention is made of religious institutions like churches, mosques nor fellowship gatherings);

3.  The Cash Bond has been reduced from P500,000 to P300,000;

4.  There is now a P2,000 application fee per outlet applied for.

To know more about the implication of the above regulations on your prospective Lotto Site, I am conducting a One-on-One Consultation on How to Setup and Operate Your Own Lotto Outlet.  Topics include How to Evaluate a Site for Lotto, The Proper Way to Apply with the PCSO, Actual Operations, How to Prevent Fraud, How to Compete Against Other Lotto Outlets and many more.  Please allot at least 2 hours for each session.  My fee is only P2,000 per person (Group discount available).  Just text me your full name and "Lotto Setup" to 0922-8831225 or call 514-2905 for details.

Acquiring a Lotto outlet is a lot cheaper than purchasing a Franchise from  Zagu (P320,000) or Siomai House (P250,000) and it is simple to operate.

IFEX 2011: Sugar Substitutes for a Diabetes-prone Society

Better than Splenda and Equal  as not chemical-based like the competition
At the IFEX 2011, I was told there are a total of 9 exhibitors selling Coco Sugar that is a substitute for sugar and is supposedly much much better that Sugar substitutes like Equal and Splenda which are chemical-based as compared to the Coco Sugar which is all-natural.

I had to ask the supplier where does the coco sugar come from  because I know that coconut is high in saturated fats.  They said there is no saturated fat in coco sugar as it is the sap from the coconut flower.  Products that come from the nut of the coconut tree is the one with the high saturated fat.  Hmmmmmmmmmm

Checkout the label
Anyway, the Coco sugar is about the same price as Splenda (huhuhuhu) but can be used for cooking without the bitter after taste common in sugar substitute.

Not just Kare-kare and Crispy Pata

I've always loved Lily's from the minute I open the small jar with the all that oily liquid on top of the peanut butter to the watching the peanut butter every square inch of that white slice bread.  Yummy!

IFEX 2011: Enter the Consolidators

Huge nationalistic Philippine National Brands at IFEX 2011
Upon entering the Exhibition Hallway, I noticed a number of consolidators with their own booths.  From what I understand, a consolidator is one who gets stocks from local manufacturers and export/market it overseas usually to countries where there are high concentration of Filipino OFWs.

Brandexport had the biggest booth and had a roster of Blue chip companies as its clients.

Elom International acts as consolidator but also imports and sells products from overseas

Globsl 88 consolidator

Spaghetti Sauce imported by Elom
Well-known products like Boy Bawang from KSK and Chippy from Universal Robina Corp as well as Fox Candy from Nestle (Elom)

IFEX 2011: More Trend Award Ideas

More Trend Award Ideas made by Innovators and by people who are not afraid to be different---

It may sound like an oxymoron  about having a snack and a diet but it seems that is how most people approach diet and weight management.  Now this company is trying to cater to that need  by giving the best of both worlds. And I think if I could do exactly that--- allow people to keep their beloved snack while controlling their weight-- then I would have a winner.

Banana Chips in Diet Packs.
Civet coffee.  That;s coffee that had already been ingested by the Civet cat and ...... ahem, apparently the coffee beans do not dissolve inside the civet cat's digestive system. GO FIGURE IT OUT WHERE THE COFFEE COMES FROM.  BTW, VERY EXPENSIVE CUP OF JAVA.

The beverage market is one of the largest consumer goods category and most of the big players are loaded with sugar. Being a hot country, we all love that ice-cold refreshing drink to down in one gulp.  But with most containing mostly sugar and water, you can imagine the detrimental effect on health.  The Herb Cooler and other products like it are trying to provide a good thirst-quencher while being healthy at the same time.

Lemongrass Herb Cooler for toxin elimination.
